Ms. Janeen Rojas is Nurse Practitioner at the University of California at San Francisco, where she is a primary care clinician specialized in trauma-informed care for women living with HIV. She also serves as clinical faculty in the UCSF School of Nursing. She completed her Bachelors in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, and her Masters of Science in Nursing at UCSF, with a minor in Sociology and Public Policy. She has focused her nursing career in the development and delivery of interdisciplinary models of care -- drawing on fields of medicine, social sciences and behavioral health-- that integrate appropriate responses to social determinants of health into the primary care setting. Prior to her current position at UCSF, she worked within San Francisco's Department of Public Health, and as a nurse consultant within California's Department of Corrections.
