Lieutenant Kim Klos began her career in law enforcement in 1998 in New Orleans, working in both corrections and enforcement. In 2005, Hurricane Katrina “relocated” her to Bay Minette, Alabama, where she joined the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office the same year. Assigned to the Corrections Center, Kim has risen to the rank of Lieutenant, gaining experience in all facets of jail operations. In addition to her daily responsibilities, she serves as the Employee Fund Manager, Accreditation Unit Coordinator, and Peer Support Coordinator for corrections. She is an active member of the AJA, ACA, the Alabama Jail Association, and the Alabama Jail Administrators Council.
