Dr. Mundin's current work is a blend of her two favorite areas of focus: 1) Being part of a team that cares for individuals with serious mental illness and 2) Achieving and maintaining accreditation standards. Her love of teamwork in medicine is derived from her years as the Clinical Medical Director for Psychiatric Emergency Services in a metropolitan trauma center in Canada. Her enthusiasm  to maintain accreditation standards is rooted in her years in medical education administration where, as an Assistant Dean in the Calgary, Alberta medical school, she was part of the team that led the school to successful accreditation with the Association of American Medical Colleges and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. She has received awards and recognitions  from her students and her colleagues, including a 2017 recognition as a Top Reviewer for the Journal of Graduate Medical Education.
