Ashley Biller is Kentucky proud, born and raised in Louisville. She attended the University of Louisville where she completed her Master of Education in counseling and personnel services with a specialty in art therapy. She is a board-certified licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed professional art therapist. Throughout her studies, she developed her clinical skills working in psychiatric hospitals, residential facilities, and low-income schools within the community. In 2016, she joined Louisville Metro Department of Corrections as a mental health professional. She has worked with incarcerated adults and juveniles in this setting, providing clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, crisis management, and supportive services. Her passion is program development to assist in mental health stabilization with hopes to improve functioning upon release and reduce recidivism.
