Kayoon Addison works for the Massachusetts Department of Correction (MA DOC) in the Health Services Division as the Acting Director of Behavioral Health. Prior to this, she was one of the three Mental Health Regional Administrators in the Health Services Division. She has more than ten years of experience in correctional mental health. Before she started working for the MA DOC, she was employed by the contracted healthcare vendor, ensuring quality mental health services within the correctional environment.  She earned her Master's degree from Framingham State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and her Bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Last but not least, Kayoon is certified in crisis negotiation, crisis intervention and restrictive housing unit management.
