Brooke Berard, Psy.D. is a forensically-trained licensed psychologist with experience and focus on the prevention of sexual violence. Brooke is the Director of Sex Offender Program Services for Wellpath and the Massachusetts Department of Correction.  She has experience overseeing risk assessments, treatment planning, staff training and supervision, and program development. Additionally, she has presented extensively on sexual violence to a variety of audiences including law enforcement, clinicians, schools and communities. Brooke earned her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. She completed her pre-doctoral APA internship while being trained by Dr. Papapietro at the Whiting Forensic Unit at Connecticut Valley Hospital and Capitol Region Mental Health Center in Connecticut and completed a postdoctoral fellowship through Forensic Health Services and University of Massachusetts - Boston. In addition to forensic settings, her clinical experience includes working in residential treatment facilities, court clinics, outpatient community mental health centers, and doing mobile crisis/disaster relief work.
