Dr. Francis Ysla serves as the chief psychiatrist for Liberty Health care, specializing in serious mental illness and competency restoration in sheriff department jail systems throughout California, including San Diego, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. In addition to his clinical roles as chief psychiatrist, he also acts as president of Liberty Health care of California. Outside of his interests in correctional psychiatry, he also serves as supervising psychiatrist for a local non-profit organization focusing on underserved minority populations as well as staff psychiatrist for one of the country's top-funded federally qualified health centers.
