Dr. Gibson has dual, complementary roles. His primary role is Managing Director for NCCHC Resources, Inc., a nonprofit consulting firm where he and his team provide critical assistance in myriad ways to correctional health care programs nationwide. NCCHC Resources is a subsidiary of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, where Dr. Gibson serves as Chief Health Officer. He works in both a leadership and technical capacity to help define the organization’s overall strategy and direction and advising on a variety of matters, with emphasis on clinical and public health issues. He works closely with thought leaders, clinicians, and government officials to facilitate education, training, and technical assistance as they develop solutions for providing quality health care to incarcerated persons.

Dr. Gibson is board-certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He is also a Certified Association Executive.
