Over the past several years, the issue of how correctional systems should manage individuals who have actual/presumed mental illness has become increasingly important. Unfortunately, those charged with crimes may not be provided with the mental health assistance they need. This poster reviews the literature on prison versus medical care facilities for those individuals through an ethical lens.
