306 How to Start and Grow a DBT Program
Description
Dialectical behavior therapy is the gold standard treatment for borderline personality disorder and one of the few evidence-based treatments that effectively targets suicidal behaviors and nonsuicidal self-injury. Despite the treatment being highly effective and resulting in cost savings, the required upfront investment of resources frequently causes substantial barriers. This presentation will review DBT's modes and functions and highlight the most important resources required for implementation of a well-functioning, comprehensive DBT program.
