Some of the most difficult client behavioral patterns may be modified with effective understanding of behavioral function and targeted contingency management strategies. This roundtable will provide a refresher of behavioral and learning principles (reinforcement, shaping, punishment, extinction, etc.), importance of determining behavioral function, information about case formulation and behavioral planning, and how to structure the environment for implementation.
