Dr. Bloodgood has worked in the field of correctional mental health for the last 20 years, in a variety of settings. These include: a forensic psychiatric hospital, state prisons, county jail, and a locked juvenile sex offender program. She earned both a master's and doctorate in forensic psychology, due to her specific interest in the field and the population. She is passionate about working with incarcerated individuals and providing the best care possible to these patients. She now considers herself a “lifer.”
