Jessica Krueger, MD is a Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Physician II at the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC). She is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland and subsequently completed her residency training in Family Medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) - St. Margaret. Before accepting her role at the CDOC, she completed a fellowship in Addiction Medicine through the University of Colorado. She now provides oversight of the Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) program at the CDOC, diagnosing, assessing, and treating inmates with opioid use disorder; providing education and training to correctional health care providers across the state; and helping to develop MAT-related medical programs, treatment standards, and clinical pathways. She is an advocate for advancing MAT services in underserved patient populations. In addition to her clinical role at the CDOC, she also works part time as a primary care provider through the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) and serves as volunteer clinical faculty for the Addiction Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado.
