Richard Forbus is a United States Marine Corps veteran and has over 25 years of experience in corrections, retiring as a Corrections Captain in 2021 from one of the largest NCCHC-accredited jail systems in the country, where he was responsible for operations, policy and procedure, training, and accreditation. At NCCHC, he assists health care and correctional leaders across the country in finding solutions to the challenge of providing quality correctional health care.
