P04 The Challenge of Correctional Nursing: Compassion, Care, and Calling
Description
Correctional nursing is a specialty that is often learned only through on-the-job training … until now. Whether you already have your CCHP or are considering taking the first step in your educational journey, this course will provide an overview of correctional nursing responsibilities from intake to release and the days, or hours, in between. Through vignette-based exercises, participants will review the core concepts and competencies that every correctional nurse should know and explore nursing responsibilities that support NCCHC standards and patient care. The material covered will assist candidates seeking the CCHP-RN certification to prepare for the exam. 3.5 CE credits
Separate registration fee $99
