Mr. Patrick Sullivan utilized methadone for 3 years to find sobriety after struggling with opioid use disorder for approximately a decade. He subsequently received a BS in psychology from the University of Arizona, graduating in 2013. Mr. Sullivan started in the behavioral health field in 2014 and a year later became a recovery coach at an opioid treatment program in Tucson. He started working for Community Medical Services (CMS) in Tucson in 2017 and specialized in correctional health, including working with local drug courts, reentry programs, and overseeing CMS’s medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) jail treatment operations in southern Arizona. In 2020 Mr. Sullivan was awarded his MPH online through the University of Massachusetts. He is currently the director of the CMS Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections’ MOUD program. When not working Mr. Sullivan enjoys outdoors activities and spending time with his wife and two children.
