Dr. Maria Masotta has been committed to correctional mental health since completing her pre-doctoral internship in the prison system in Massachusetts where she was hired as a Staff Psychologist and then promoted to Mental Health Director at the state's women's prison. Dr. Masotta continues her passion for improving mental health care for incarcerated mentally ill individuals as a monitor and consultant in various correctional mental health programs across the United States. Additionally, Dr. Masotta has taught various clinical courses at the graduate and undergraduate level for more than 15 years.
