Dr. Desiree Sanchez is in her fourth year of residency in urology at UCLA. She received her BS from UCLA and her MD at University of Washington in Seattle. She is conducting research in urologic care within the California department of corrections as well as throughout a Medicaid community population in the Inland Empire of California. For this work, she received the 2020-2021 Jerry Janger Memorial Research Fellow grant and the HH Lee Surgical Research Grant.
