Ashley Jorgensen is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience in mental health services in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, adult corrections, and juvenile corrections. Her current position is as Clinical Supervisor of Idaho Maximum Security Institution. As the Clinical Supervisor, she supervises staff and provides oversite of the mental health needs at the facility. In addition, she provides on-site management of the Idaho Secure Medical Program, which provides services to individuals with civil commitments deemed dangerously mentally ill by the court. Ms. Jorgensen has recently begun the dissertation phase of her PhD in Forensic Psychology; her topic is on the lived experiences of compassion fatigue in corrections officers.
