Risa Klemme currently serves as the statewide ADA Compliance Manager for the Washington State Department of Corrections. During her 25-year career with the Department she has managed and participated in numerous project management positions and has functioned in the role of Public Information Officer, Legal Liaison and facility Auditor. She has served on numerous statewide committees and task force groups as both leader and participant. Prior to her career in the corrections field, she was employed as a manager for a private non-profit community mental health center in Seattle and worked for the American Red Cross. Her education includes undergraduate work in community college and Bible college.
