Amber Medina is a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) and is in her 4th year with the Washington State Department of Corrections. She began as a mental health clinician, and in 2020, transitioned into a Traumatic Brain Injury pilot program associated with the University of Washington. Since the end of the grant with UW, she has continued to work on TBI and has moved into a program development role for TBI under a contract with the Department of Corrections and the Department of Health and Social Services. Amber was recently appointed to the Governors TBI Council and will be working with the "Independent Living" group. She is working toward certification as a Brain Injury Specialist.
