Dr. Donald Kern, MD, MPH, CCHP, has worked in corrections since 1995 in both jails and prisons, at all security levels, and been employed by a city government, an academic medical center, and a private contractor. Dr. Kern is a past member of the NCCHC Board of Directors as well as past president of the American College of Correctional Physicians. He is currently corporate medical director for Quality Correctional Health Care based in Birmingham, Alabama.
