Plenary Session: Lessons Learned in Developing a Post-Release HCV Treatment Program*

This presentation features the Referral on Release (RoR) program, which connects those recently released from incarceration who are positive with hepatitis C virus to treatment near their release location. Presenters discuss the need for such a program to provide assistance to this population in accessing treatment, initial set-up challenges, successes, lessons learned during the first year, and changes made for improvement. Evidence-based strategies will be shared for others wishing to set up similar programs.
