308 Experience, Efficacy, and Ethics of Increased Liberty Restrictions During COVID-19 in Federal Prisons
Description
This qualitative study presents the perspectives of people who were incarcerated in federal prisons during the COVID-19 pandemic and focuses on their experiences and assessments of increased liberty restrictions for COVID control, such as lockdown, movement restriction, and isolation. This poster describes the harms resulting from these measures as well as residents' perceptions of the efficacy and fairness of these measures. To conclude, recommendations are given for easing the burden of increased liberty restrictions.
