Ms. Anneke Cerri is an infection control nurse and trainer/educator for the Delaware Department of Correction with 12 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Maryland and is a licensed practical nurse in Delaware. Ms. Cerri believes “wise and humane management of the patient is the best safeguard against infection” (Florence Nightingale). She received Bureau Commendation Awards from both the Delaware Bureau of Prisons and the Delaware Bureau of Community Corrections in 2020 for her efforts during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
