Mrs. Anneke Cerri is the infection control nurse and trainer/educator for the Delaware Department of Correction with 12 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Maryland and is a licensed practical nurse in the State of Delaware. Mrs. Cerri believes "wise and humane management of the patient is the best safeguard against infection"(Florence Nightingale). She was awarded the Bureau Commendation Awards from both the Delaware Bureau of Prisons and Delaware Bureau of Community Corrections in 2020 for her untiring efforts during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
