Ms. Monetha Gaskin is the Continuum of Care and Justice-Involved Program Manager with the South Carolina Department of Public Health, Division of STD, HIV, and Viral Hepatitis. She holds a Master's of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Planning and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Ms. Gaskin has dedicated 18 years of her career to making impactful contributions in the field of HIV, and for the past eight years, focused on justice-involved populations. Currently overseeing the activities of PS20-2011 and the Ending the HIV Epidemic Treat Pillar, her passion for HIV and justice-involved activities has been a driving force in enhancing the lives of people living with HIV (PWH) as they reintegrate into the community. Ms. Gaskin's commitment is evident through her strategic leadership in developing and implementing initiatives that address the unique challenges faced by justice-involved individuals living with HIV. She has spearheaded programs ensuring access to medical care, counseling, and support, thereby mitigating the impact of incarceration on the health and well-being of this population.
