Ms. Wendy Habert is NCCHC's director of accreditation. Ms. Habert was previously employed as a sworn deputy sheriff, health services administrator, and director of compliance overseeing health care services in one of Colorado's largest jails. She also served as a regional director of operations for a national correctional health services vendor where she managed the contracts and oversaw the care delivered at eight correctional facilities. She has advised correctional facilities across the country on accreditation and medication-assisted treatment programs. Ms. Habert has a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.
