Ms. Elizabeth Laferriere is Acting Chief of Staff and Senior Innovation Advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Population Affairs (DASPA) and Deputy Director at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Population Affairs (OPA.) She co-designs and supports innovative initiatives around sexual healthcare quality, access, and equity which includes several innovation initiatives  in health care for system-impacted youth. Previously, she served as Senior Policy Advisor for the National Center for Youth Law where she focused on system reform-based legislation, policy implementation, and coalition-building. She is also a doctoral candidate at the George Washington University and researches health policy innovations and continuity of care for youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
