Mrs. Susan Laffan has been a presenter at NCCHC conferences for more than 20 years. She has worked as a nurse in emergency, critical care, and correctional specialties for over 35 years. Mrs. Laffan has had over 40 articles published and authored a chapter in the Essentials of Correctional Nursing textbook. She has been on the CCHP board, in the CCHP-RN task group, and served as chairperson for the Academy of Correctional Professionals. Mrs. Laffan was appointed to the NCCHC education committee and the CCHP-RN committee in 2023.
