Dr. Jennifer Lenz currently serves as the statewide dental director for the Delaware Department of Correction under Centurion of Delaware, a position she has held since 2014. Dr. Lenz graduated in 2007 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed a two-year general practice residency program at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she was chief resident in her second year. Dr. Lenz started her career in private practice in 2009, but soon transitioned to full-time correctional dentistry in 2014. In her current role as statewide dental director, Dr. Lenz coordinates and oversees the dental care provided to both the level 5 and level 4 incarcerated individuals in Delaware. Dr. Lenz has been actively involved in policy and program development in the Delaware Department of Correction and pioneered the mobile dental clinic program that provides dental care to the level 4 inmates. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Delaware State Dental Society. In her free time, Dr. Lenz enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
