Carol Novalis is an educator and researcher with experience in working with underprivileged young people attempting to enter the job market, developing programs for parents, and conducting major government research projects in the social, economic and environmental sectors. Ms. Novalis recently co-authored a book, Psychotherapy in Corrections, and has contributed to research on treating mentally ill patients in social programs as well as correctional settings.  Her education includes a bachelor's degree in education and social science from Queens College, City University of New York and a master's degree in adult education and research from the University of Maryland.
