Dr. Becky Pata has been practicing in corrections for five years, working for Turn Key Health Clinics. She started her nursing career 36 years ago working in obstetrics in a hospital setting, caring for women and newborns in both joyous and tragic circumstances. She moved to corrections when she started working as a family nurse practitioner. Her practice includes pregnant women in eight county jails in Oklahoma. She received her BSN from the University of Central Oklahoma and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Oklahoma City University. Her doctoral final project was Early Detection and Management of Postpartum Depression by Implementing a Screening Protocol.
