Dr. Jeff Sim is the statewide mental health quality improvement manager for the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). Before moving to IDOC he was the acting superintendent at a juvenile justice facility that provides mental health treatment for youth with severe mental health issues and youth with sexually deviant behaviors. A licensed clinical psychologist, he is also an associate professor at Western Illinois University.
