Ms. Honey Sternberg holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling. She is certified in trauma therapy and has worked with individuals who have serious mental illness and trauma as well as with community wraparound programing for the past five years. She has worked with community groups to facilitate suicide awareness and present educational materials to law enforcement, first responders, and community groups. She has worked in corrections for 4 years including critical response, mental health court, staff trainings and individual/group therapy. Honey has an inherent belief that every person can make changes in their lives, however, not everyone has access to the skills and tools that are needed. Bringing mental health into correctional facilities gives her the opportunity to help provide this access.
