CPT Carl Trowbridge has been a member of the Franklin County, Ohio, Sheriff's Office for 23 years. He started his career at the Jackson Pike facility learning all aspects of being a deputy assigned to corrections. CPT Trowbridge attained his Ohio Police Officer Training Academy certificate in 2003. He continued to work in corrections and was promoted to corporal in May of 2007. Carl then moved to different shifts to better learn to be a supervisor. In June 2010 he was promoted to sergeant and was moved to the main jail. He worked there until moving back to the Jackson Pike facility. In May of 2013 he was once again promoted, this time to lieutenant. He served as the shift commander on B co until November of 2014 when he was promoted to captain of the professional services bureau. CPT Trowbridge has worked in corrections his entire career and still enjoys working in the jail.
