Dr. Joel Federbush is a forensic psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience. He has worked in multiple correctional facilities and has a successful private practice specializing in forensic psychiatry evaluations including will contests, risk assessments, testamentary capacity, and guardianship evaluations. Dr Federbush has worked hard in each of his positions to work collaboratively with his behavioral health teams as well as custody partners and is passionate about training initiatives related to crisis de-escalation and understanding the signs and symptoms of serious mental illness.
