Ms. Katie Cummings is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician employed by Brown University Health working as the Lead Behavioral Health Clinician at the Rhode Island Training School – Youth Development Center, Rhode Island’s only juvenile correctional facility. Ms. Cummings conducts initial clinical assessments with youth who have been adjudicated, as well as providing individual and group therapy for youth at the RITS who are either detained or adjudicated. She has been working with youth in the juvenile justice system for six years. Kate also provides supervision to Master’s Level clinicians. She earned her M.A. in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from Roger Williams University and her B.A. in Psychology from UMass Dartmouth.
