Dr. Joel Federbush is a forensic psychiatrist with more than 30 years of experience. He has worked in multiple correctional facilities and maintains a private practice specializing in forensic psychiatry evaluations, including will contests, risk assessments, testamentary capacity, and guardianship evaluations. In each of his roles, he has worked collaboratively with behavioral health teams and custody partners. He is passionate about training initiatives for crisis de-escalation and recognizing the signs and symptoms of serious mental illness.
