Hiring dedicated and qualified clinicians in correctional medicine is challenging. Early exposure to the environment and teaching the importance of providing quality care to incarcerated populations improves the workforce pipeline. This poster outlines a correctional medicine rotation and provides tools, including cases for programs and institutions who want to incorporate correctional medicine into their learning opportunities for students and residents.
