Ms. Doreen Joy Pagaran is the Nursing Consultant, Program Review, Compliance Supervisor at the California Office of the Inspector General Medical Inspection Unit. She earned her associate degree in nursing at Maurine Church Coburn School of Nursing, achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management at Western Governors University. She’s CCHP-RN certified. She also completed Legal Nursing Consultant course at California State University. Her correctional nursing experience include working in CDCR institutions, and for the last seven years, she’s been with the OIG, supervising nurses performing audits and inspections in California State Prisons.
