Ms. Karen Riley is the owner of Karen Riley Consulting LLC. Her 30 years in nursing have included serving as a Navy Nurse Corps officer and working as an emergency department director before moving into the field of correctional health care. During her 15 years in corrections, she has worked in jails and state prison systems as a site nurse, a regional manager, and an operations leader before moving into the corporate CQI and then corporate compliance director roles. Ms. Riley recently began her own consulting firm assisting prisons, jails, courts, and attorneys with accreditation preparations, medical record reviews, court monitoring, systems assessments, and training. She earned her BSN at Old Dominion University and her MBA at the New York Institute of Technology.
