Dr. Jeff Baxter is a physician board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, and serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., a large, multi-site, not-for-profit provider of substance use treatment services based in Massachusetts. The work of Spectrum’s Correctional Health division includes a network of Opioid Treatment Programs across the state Department of Corrections, and partnerships between Spectrum’s community-based OTP’s and county correctional facilities to provide tailored MOUD services in those sites.
