Validation is one of the best extinguishers we have for conflict and defensiveness, yet many people don't necessarily think of it as a specific strategy. This presentation will highlight the importance of validation within interpersonal interactions and teach the how to's of applying it effectively and genuinely. Do's and don'ts of effective validation will be discussed as well as the function and potential benefit of accurate invalidation.
