Comorbidities of obesity, diabetes, and other chronic conditions are seen at higher rates in populations with disabilities. Management of care for patients with disabilities and impairments in correctional facilities requires strict adherence to ADA standards and the Eighth amendment. This session will examine necessary care and accommodations for this population as well as how the electronic health record can ensure accountability and continuous quality improvement.
