The effectiveness of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has been recognized in various health care settings beyond mental health, including hospitals, clinics, and correctional facilities. Training correctional health care staff in DBT presents an opportunity to enhance patient-centered care and align care with the mental health team.
