This roundtable will share cases from a community jail to demonstrate the challenges and opportunities of providing care in this setting. Participants will review the cases from the perspective of nursing, primary care, and mental health, with exploration of themes of desensitization, the changing landscape of substance abuse, and the difficulties of physical complaints presenting as mental health diagnoses.
