Ms. Angela Bowen, JD, MPA, is a consultant at Health Management Associates (HMA). For over five years she has specialized in providing technical assistance to state Medicaid agencies, employers, and commercial health plans to achieve coverage of the National Diabetes Prevention Program lifestyle change program. At Leavitt Partners (now an HMA company), Ms. Bowen has worked closely with the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors to increase coverage of the program and support program implementation, including leading the content creation for the National Diabetes Prevention Program’s coverage toolkit (https://coveragetoolkit.org/).
