Dr. Patrick K. Ennis, FAAFP, FASAM, CCHP is dual board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine. He has practiced for the last 7 years at Cermak Health Services of Cook County, the health care provider for the Cook County Department of Corrections in Illinois. He is currently the medical director of the Cermak opioid treatment program (OTP), the only accredited OTP in any Illinois jail. As a CCHP, he has been an advocate for the intersection of addiction medicine and correctional health including televised interviews and participating in national calls with other large urban jails. He is currently completing his Master of Public Health degree in health policy and administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
