Ms. Ashley Jonas, MSN, RN, is a clinical nurse at the University of Utah College of Nursing. With a passion for equitable health care, she specializes in caring for incarcerated youth and co-leads a research project on human trafficking and sexually transmitted infections. Ms. Jonas is a committee member on the Utah trafficking in persons task force, working to educate the public about trafficking and its misconceptions. Ashley recently earned her MSN with an education emphasis and focuses on improving medical care for individuals with dark complexions. Her goal is to ensure inclusivity and accuracy in health care diagnoses.
