Mr. Daniel Sego serves as a Clinical Operations Specialist with Centurion, LLC. In this role, Mr. Sego supports a team responsible for ensuring Centurion facilities are prepared for and maintain correctional health care accreditation through NCCHC and ACA. He began his career in corrections at age 19 as a correctional officer and later earned a nursing degree, allowing him to serve in a variety of clinical and operational roles throughout his correctional career. Prior to his current position, Mr. Sego spent eight years with the Arizona Department of Corrections as Director of Operations, where he ensured individuals housed in nine facilities received appropriate health services. Since 2019, Mr. Sego has been a Certified Correctional Health Professional and attributes his ability to effectively support health care teams and patients to his in-depth knowledge of NCCHC standards and their role in advancing quality care.
